Here we have Van Halen’s first, self-titled LP.
This one is in great shape, though there is a little wear on it for sure – but for the title, it is better than many that I come across.
This one, the cover shows a little bit of shelf wear/age – but there is some specific damage that I zoomed in on in a picture. It is a small area, but it is damage to be noted.
As for the wax, you can see that it does not have any major scuffs or damage – the sides are both pretty clean. That being said, when I played it, I did hear some light noise in between songs…I did not notice anything in the quiet parts of songs or anything, but in between songs, I heard some light pops…more on side 2, in between the first 3 songs – that last couple are pretty silent. It made me put the record under a brighter light, and then I could see some super light scuffs from normal play – they are there. I did not run it thru the Discwasher, but can before I send it off if you like.
