Here I have a super cool double-sider, Betty Lavette’s Let Me Down Easy/What I don’t Know (Won’t Hurt Me) on Calla.
This is a great single, and I was lucky to get a pile of new old stock – all of them looked unplayed. 3 of the 4 had X’s on the labels, otherwise only one label had a little ink smearing on it – they all look great.
The songs rule – my preference, is the B side – it shreds, and her vocal is great. But the A side ballad is also really cool – you can’t lose here, I don’t think. I can play one (or the one you want) and do a video clip if you like, but see nothing on the unmarked one to report.
