Here we are looking at a reissue of Bill Evans’ Everybody Digs Bill Evans. Use the pix to verify the pressing – look at the cover and the labels.
The cover of this one is in really nice shape. It truly shows very little shelf wear or rubbing, both front and back.
The wax, for the most part, looks really nice. There were a couple small factory imperfections I saw – don’t think it will affect playback in a major way, but it might produce a couple ticks/pops. I zoomed in on the one spot that would be a concern – I couldn’t determine if it was a storage related thing or something from the factory. But overall, you can see the wax is clean with a nice shine, surely to playback with a great sound. I’d bet parts of it sound perfect – but there will be some occasional sounds from the wax quality, today, that would keep the rating down from that.
