Here’s a really sweet copy of the Dead’s 87 release, In the Dark.
This one looks like it was NEVER played at all – I hadn’t looked so intently at the wax before, but it is really close to a NM, or VG+++ – however you want to see it. It’s perfect looking. It was one of multiple copies from the same collection, so chances are, it was never played. It was well stored too, as you can see – no bad shelf wear, ring wear or age to speak of at all. You can see it isn’t brand new, but it is in awesome shape.
Because you asked specifically, I did put this on my turntable and spun it to be sure the wax was not warped at all, and the center hole was not off – it’s 100% solid on both counts.
