Here is The Jackie McLean Quintet, JGM 1064.
The cover here is really nice – love the artwork, and this one is clean (McLean? – sorry). The only thing really worth mentioning on the cover, is that there is a super small split top edge near the mouth – I zoomed a detail pic of it below. But the white back is not yellowed, the edges are solid (save for that split), and only showing normal shelf age.
The inner had been replaced at some point – it’s a plain white one. The wax has some light storage related whisper marks on it – they likely will not make any sound in playback, but I did not spin this one. It looks like it’ll play at a strong VG+, perhaps even bordering on NM – it is nice and clean. I would, however, expect a few random pops occasionally, so it’s not a NM – but it is a solid record.
So as a special today, I also found this one this morning: https://www.discogs.com/release/5983854-Jackie-McLean-Sextet-Fat-Jazz
It is also in great shape, both cover and wax, and was from about the same era…I would list this on Discogs for about $75, I will sell it to you for $50 if you want to bundle them both…I have not listed it anywhere yet. You can PayPal me $50 direct. If not, no worries, just let me know so I can list it.
