Here we are looking at the stereo reissue of Jimmy Giuffre 3’s Trav’lin’ Light, from 1959. It’s on Atlantic.

This is a really nice copy – and I have 3 or more of them to compare right now, so you can trust me. 🙂

But the front on this one has a great shine – there’s a little bit of a bump in the lower right corner, but it is minor. The picture caught the shine from my ceiling fan light and I can say with confidence, this is a nice looking front piece. The edges and spine are all solid as well, with at the worst, a little nick on the top and bottom corner (super minor).

The back cover has a stamp (factory?) on the top edge, and there is a little ribbon of discoloration on the bottom – I zoomed it in an additional pic so you can see it more closely, but it is very minor, to me. The inner is a plain one – might be original, might be replaced…I can send a new one with the record if you like to be sure you’re good. I have paper and poly ones here.

The labels on this one are beautiful – I love this Atlantic green label, as they only used it a short time…it’s just cool looking. These are spotless, as the pix show.

I can see that these sides are not NM – but there was only one, very tiny storage looking scuff on side 2 that was looking like it wasn’t from the factory. It is in very nice shape, and I will stand very very confidently on my VG+ rating – it should play out as well as any used record does. Do note: I am still only visually grading this.

But the condition on each side is great, as you should be able to clearly see in the pictures. The cover is also a very sweet one – there is some shine to the back cover, but it is more inconsistent than the front. I will stand behind this one as a great copy, 100% – and I am happy to make a deal on multiple Giuffre titles if you wanna…I have 2 copies of his first one too, at least. I think I may have more somewhere too. It’s a delightful problem to have.
