Here we have John Coltrane’s Coltrane Jazz. This is the stereo version from 1961 – I also have the mono one in equally beautiful shape should that one be of interest (I prefer mono releases myself). This one is really great though – it’s super solid.
Looking at the front cover, you can see immediately is in super nice shape. The front is clean with no splits or edge wear. There is a great shine to the laminate on the front – on the upper left corner, there is the smallest bit of a factory imperfection that catches the light (you can see it in the pic below) but it is very very minimal. The back cover has some very minor foxing/age spots starting, but it is clean and in great shape.
Original inner…there are some splits starting on it on the bottom. I can put it in a new one for you if you like.
The labels are awesome and make it look like this has never been spun – there are no marks on either side of the labels. Likewise for the wax here – super clean, and nice…looks like it’ll give you a NM playback in every way.
This is a great condition used record – that it is a rare Coltrane, is pretty special indeed! Click on any image below to see it larger, and use your browser to return here. Let me know if you need anything further.
