Here we are looking at Sam Lazar’s Space Flight with Grant Green on Argo, #4002.

This one is in fine shape, both the wax and the cover. The cover shows a little bit of natural age, particualrly in the back cover where there is more foxing/discoloring. Note there is a bump to the top left corner, but it is pretty minor. No splits, and your spins is totally solid here.

Plain inner – can’t tell if it is replaced or not, might be original. The wax is great – the scuff I mentioned is on side one, to the right of the label looking at it straight up. It is not deep at all, and doesn’t play as the video clip should show you.

I spun the whole thing and did a clip of the end of track one into track two, which is directly on the storage mark and I didn’t hear a thing. Not to say this is a NM playback, but it is a solid VG+ for sure, with the random pops that let you know it is a vintage vinyl record – and Argo are never the best pressings anyway. Great record though- sounds lovely, and the playing is stellar.
