Please note: With more research, I determined with little doubt, that this one is a reissue from about 62-63. The only difference in it from the original, is the label – it is Oxblood (not blood red) and it is missing some text the original labels put between the spindle hole and the titles. This copy is still great, and if you want to discuss it, please email marty@hoxboxrecords.com.

Here we are looking at Wilbur Harden’s Tanganyika Strut.

This one is in nice shape, so there isn’t a ton to say about it – the images will show you what you need to see I think. There is some minor, normal aging to the cover – you see it in the ring wear on the back more than on the front. The front panel is a paste on and it is kind of small which is why you see such a big border on the front. It’s in solid shape overall. It’s got some shelf wear, but it is not severe.

I will put it in a new inner for you. The wax really has nothing to report that I saw – I will go on the safe side and say there may be a few scuffs from storage, but it should be very minimal at best. I can’t see this playing any lower than VG++ and would not be at all surprised if it played closer to NM. I would rather grade it lower to be safer.
