Here are the images of the half-speed master recording of Michaels Jackson’s wonderful Thriller LP.

I apologize for the reflection of my ceiling fan on the wax, but it does show that it is nice and shiny, and not all full of track marks or anything nasty. If you need new pix say so, and I will take more.

There is a mark to mention, leading out of side 2 which is clearly visible here – but it plays through without skipping when I last played it. The light caught it in the picture and made it look worse than it is, which I actually liked – I would rather have it look worse in a picture than be worse in person.

I heard some light surface noise, but no steady clicks or pops – more like some light, non-constant crackles. I heard it in-between songs more than in any song itself…In songs, it was most pronounced in the last track – Lady in my Life – but it did not take me out of the song in playback, if that makes sense. Just a little needle play could be heard in that one  – I can listen more closely to the whole record if you need me to.

If you want a sound clip of that last track or any of this, I am happy to do so – I will run this thru the Discwasher before mailing it too, which will make it even nicer. The wax is in really nice shape overall though, visually – hope it looks that way here. I played some of it while typing this up, and the songs were great…but admittedly, I did not sit and listen closely to every track to see. There were no scratches or things to check for skipping/issues except Lady in My Life – which I already mentioned above.
