Here we are looking at Lou Donaldson’s Blues Walk on Blue Note, #1593.
This is an original issue stereo in nice shape – all original details. The cover has a small corner cut (lower right on front) indicating it was a cutout at some point. That being said, it still has the original shrink wrap on it (torn open, and ripped in half on front) so the cover has remained in nice shape over the years. It is really the same as the mono cover with the fatory Stereo sticker on it. Other than the small corner cut, this cover is in really well preserved shape.
It has the original Blue Note, 25 Year inner sleeve in clean condition. I can provide another plain inner if you want to preserve this one. The labels are clean and free from wear or water damage, which really can be bad on these Blue Notes (water will smear them and run the ink…beware, brother, beware!).
The vinyl itself looks to be in tip-top shape. Overall, I only saw one, super small mark on the last part of the last song on side one – I tried to point at it in the picture below. Anything else was simply dust – it is very clean, and free from scratches, storage marks, factory imperfections, or other issues. Even that small mark doesn’t look like it will play – so expect a really great playback from this one, is what it says to me.
